About Us
Raddicus Finch is a small business run out of Los Angeles, CA. We provide vintage clothing and upcycled 1-of-1 pieces for all bodies and genders!
Mia (they/them) is a queer non-binary Taiwanese creative born and raised in the San Gabriel Valley. They grew up thrifting with their dad out of necessity, but immediately fell in love with vintage fashion. In 2014, they started selling clothing on Etsy and Depop to make extra money as a high school student. They continued to passively sell vintage clothing throughout their college years, but never really considered their online shop as a career path.
At the tail-end of 2019, Mia became homeless while enrolled as a Master of Public Policy candidate at USC. They couch surfed, lived out of their car, and eventually ended up at a homeless shelter during the COVID-19 pandemic. Experiencing intense burnout and instability, they barely managed to graduate. Mia decided to prioritize their mental health and quit their office job in 2020 to commit full-time to Raddicus Finch.
Besides curated vintage, Mia creates unique 1-of-1 pieces that incorporate hand embroidery, screen printing, machine sewing, and cyanotypes. In 2023, they co-founded Thick Thrift—LA’s first all plus size market. Thick Thrift has been featured in Vogue, NPR, Forbes, LA Times, and more! Raddicus Finch vends monthly at Thick Thrift as well as many other local markets.
